| With the development of network and digital technology,the term of "big data" is derived.In the face of huge amount of data,all walks of life have to make a change.Shouldering the responsibility of providing information and spreading knowledge,journalism needs to change.This paper chooses Caixin as the research object,which achieved excellent result in the process of data visualization practice in china.The research is based on the information visualization process model of Card,by applying the method of content analysis,put forward from the four stages: data source,visualization,view shows and interactive design.Through the quantitative research of data visualization of Caixin practice,paper explores the development path of data visualization in our country.Here are some findings.Specific sections as follows:The introduction part mainly clarifies the reasons of the research of data visualization of Caixin.By combing the relevant literature on the " data visualization " and " information visualization process model of Card ",the thesis demonstrates the feasibility and necessity of Caixin's data visualization and the scientific nature of theoretical foundation.After introducing the theoretical framework,it proposes some question need to be addressed and a method used in the research and describes the specific research design in detail.The first chapter discusses the relevant concept of data visualization.At first,this paper introduces the meaning of "data visualization".Secondly,the thesis generalizes the production mode of the data visualization from data source,visualization,view shows and interactive design.Finally,the chapter summarizes the significance of data visualization from three aspects: relying on big data to make the News return to rational analysis;basing on data analysis to makes in-depth news regression;by means of visualization to achieve lightweight of news reading.The second chapter have quantized analysis and made a conclusion from the mark of sources.The statistical data shows that Caixin clearly marked the data sources and it has changed from simplification to diversification,later News has two or more data sources.On the specific type,most of the data come from the enterprise,government and media itself.This is relevant to its media positioning and the efforts of our country's information disclosure.Finally,based on the result of statistics,the paper puts forward should strictly observe the truthfulness and completeness of the data source,establish and improve the news database.The third chapter researches the visual link from the type of visualization and the use of visualization in the same report.From the results of statistics,in the process of visual histogram,Caixin tends to use traditional charts.For example,bar chart,pie,broken line graph,etc.In addition,the combination of different types of visual form is the more common way in Caixin's practice.So,in the practice of the data visualization,the media should be based on the content of the news reports,rich the way of visual expression,and strive to achieve the harmony between content and form of visual.The fourth chapter mainly summarizes the characteristics from the presentation mode of visualization and the correlation between picture and text.First,Caixin mainly uses static information chart,this type accounts for 98% of the total samples,dynamic information chart accounts for only 2%.Secondly,on the relationship between picture and text,Caixin news has changed from that "text is more important than picture" to "text is just as important as picture" and even to " picture is more important than text ".This study proposes in the practice of the data visualization,media should be based on specific content to choose static or dynamic presentation,and adhere to the principle that "text is just as important as picture",produce high levels of data visualization.The fifth chapter mainly explores interactive link from the visual chart to add interactive method and the Caixin web interface interaction add button.The data statistics has found that Caixin visual chart used in most of the interactive approach is "choice".Caixin feedback comes from social networking platform frequently,such as Sina weibo and Tencent weibo.But generally speaking,the user feedback enthusiasm of Caixin is not high.This is mainly relative to the poor effect of using multimedia-networking platform.Therefore,this research suggests that in interaction design link,the media should focus on developing the user favorite news with high interaction.And,the media ought to enhance the cooperation with multimedia social platform,pay more attention to user feedback,thus increasing the effective communication of data visualization. |
