According to the production process of automobile cooler,the welding efficiency of the intercooler core and the gas chamber is low,the welding defect is easy to occur,the welding quality is susceptible to human factors,the labor cost is high,the labor intensity of the production workers is big etc.Set up a welding robot workstation,research and development of automotive intercooler welding station control system.In this paper,the components of the automobile intercooler core and the air chamber and its welding process are studied,and the welding requirements and technical indexes are analyzed.Design and study the components of the robot workstation,and the robot system is divided into robot control system,positioner system,laser tracking system,laser tracking system,arc welding power system.The overall design scheme of the control system is presented,which is based on the robot control system as the top controller,and the coexistence of multi industrial bus.The hardware configuration,input and output circuit design,pneumatic system design,servo system design,and peripheral hardware design of the control system are carried out by using the redundancy method.According to the process of the positioner system,the PLC ladder program is written to meet the changing demand of the welding attitude of the intercooler.Through the design and development of the man-machine interface drawing program,the human-computer interaction function of the positioner control system is realized.Research on laser weld tracking system and welding power system control technology and communication scheme.The principle and control mechanism of laser weld tracking system are described,and the working flow of laser tracking system is established.This paper introduces the basic structure of digital arc welding power source,studies the digital control algorithm of arc welding power source,builds the bus network between welding power system and robot control system,determines the welding mode of pulse welding,and plans the welding process.Finally,the software configuration of each system of the robot workstation is introduced.An example is given to illustrate the working flow of the robot welding station and the configuration of the subsystem parameters.This paper summarizes the programming method of robot and verifies the performance of the workstation designed in this paper.This paper has some reference significance for the design of the same type of workstation control system.
