Organic laser materials have attracted broad attention due to their low cost,simple processing,tunable output wavelength and other advantages.The advent of the first light-pumped solid-state organic semiconductor lasers has led researchers to believe that electrically pumped organic laser devices will also be achieved in the near future.But after all the setbacks in the development of electric pumped organic laser devices,the researchers began to focus on to the indirect pumped organic lasers.The key point of realizing indirect energy-pumped organic laser devices is that the threshold of laser gain media is lower than the output power of pump source such as light emitting device(LED)or laser diodes(LDs).The main task is to develop low-threshold,high-gain organic laser materials.This article,as the goal,carried out the following research work.(1)The studying of optical gain property of DCz-LPH5 and identify it as an excellent blue emission laser medium.The optical gain related properties of DCz-LPH5 thin films were characterized and their spectral characteristics were analyzed.The amplification of spontaneous emission(ASE)threshold,gain and loss performance were investigated by characterizing the optical gain of DCz-LPH5 thin films.A DCz-LPH5 solid-state DFB organic laser device was fabricated to test its DFB laser threshold and laser slope efficiency.(2)Improve the optical gain performance and light stability of the deep blue laser material SPhTPA by doping it into the inert matrix polystyrene(PS).The ASE behaviors of SPhTPA/PS thin films with different SPHTPA doping ratios were analyzed.The doping ratio with the best ASE performance was found.The photo stability of optical gain of both SPhTPA/PS films and pure SPhTPA film were tested.The results show the photo stability of the optical gain properties of SPhTPA were improved by PS doping.(3)Reduce the ASE threshold of the F8 BT by the host-guest blending method.F8BT/3F6 films were fabricated by blending the blue material 3F6 and the green material F8 BT.The optical properties of F8BT/3F6 thin films with different blending ratios were characterized.The net gain and net loss coefficient of F8BT/3F6 thin films as a function of the blending ratio are investigated,which shows the improvement of the optical gain performance of F8 BT by host and guest blending.The blending ratio with the lowest ASE threshold was screened.
