Mobile social networks are a new social network where individuals access social networking sites to connect with one another through their mobile phone and/or tablet.Network topology properties and applications for MSNs have attracted much attention in recent years.In this work,it is focused on the fractal features and link prediction for MSNs.The main work of this paper is shown as follows:Firstly,we compared the traditional box covering algorithm and analysis the advantages and disadvantages.In order the structure of the network are changing with the time,we weighted the edge of the network with the average link time that transfer the MSNs into the weighted network.In addition,with the analysis of the network,we found that the fractal network has the strong assortativity.With the mutual exclusion of fractal dimension and modularity is considered,the boxes are built by the minimum modularity in order to calculate the fractal dimension of the social network.The box covering algorithm based on modularity can get the lower number of box than the traditional algorithm.The experiment proves the efficient of the algorithm.At last,in some time slot the fractal trait is not performed obviously.We introduce the multifractal method into the experiment by analyzing the network.It is proved that the mutifractal trait caused the less fractal performance.
