With the rapid develop of the higher education these years, the equipment of experiment and other resources in the process of scientific research, teaching play a more and more important role. But the management mode of traditional laboratory equipment has many problems in the management efficiency and quality, warehouse management needs to spend a lot of time to complete the daily management work, cannot put more energy to study how to manage the lab resources scientific, lead to a lower efficiency and management level. Aiming at the problems existed in the equipment resource management of university, design and develop an inventory management system of college with the information technology to improve the management efficiency of equipment resources.With the in-depth analysis of the business process of equipment resources management,and fully considering about teaching equipment resources industry standard, management mode development trend of variable factors, Barcode, QR code technology and MVC structure has been used for system structures, and select SQL Server as the database platform in view of the service characteristics of inventory management, then design the inventory management system of teaching equipment resources with the IIS server for the application.Management system completed from the experiment equipment procurement, inventory, and online orders to dispatch management with three modules: order from network, loading and unloading, strike a balance. The reliability of equipment resource management was greatly improved with the management system, and has many advantages such as: exactly data,clearly process and more convenient operation. At the same time, greatly reduce the inventory resource management cost and improve equipment utilization efficiency.MVC structure makes the system has good extensibility and reusability. After programing implementation and system testing, each function module has been implemented successfully and stepped into the stage of trial operation. Proved by practical use, system designed with the MVC architecture structure has a good fault tolerance performance, and run stably, can satisfy the demand of the experimental equipment management in universities.
