With the economic development, it has been popular that large public buildings consume super-large quantity of power. In light of this situation, China highly advocates construction of environment-friendly buildings, and establishes a sound energy monitoring platform. In the current markets, the energy consumption data acquisition devices used by energy-saving companies are defective in terms of too large sizes,incorrect acquisition data and limited portable energy consumption displays, failure of separate data processing of energy consumption and unsafe data transmission. With the improvement of system, it has posed higher demand for the building energy consumption data acquisition systems. Against this background, it designs an embedded energy consumption data acquisition system of higher reliability.The embedded energy consumption data acquisition system is equipped with ARM9 processor and other peripheral hardware as well as Wince as operation system.The modular and step-by-step modeling presents a clear description of structure.This thesis carries out a detailed study from three perspectives of energy consumption data acquisition reliability design, data processing methods and stable uploading.To deal with such issues as data loss, data error and slow acquisition in the course of data acquisition, this thesis conducts detailed analyses on the data acquisition communication protocols and puts forward new analytic methods. Furthermore, it carries out data processing based on data authentication, application of embedded database SQLite and split algorithm design so as to enhance the data reliability and availability.The system is able to pack the classified energy consumption data and upload them to data center by means of XML. In the data transmission module, MD5 identity authentication and design and improvement of AES encryption ensure safety of data transmission. In addition, the breakpoint transmission is improved so that data will not be lost when the system resumes its operation, and GZip is employed to compress the data packets and increase the data transmission rate. Finally, the improved energy consumption data acquisition system is put into operation at some commercial buildings and compared with the past data acquisition systems to verify its reliability.
