Research on scattering characteristics of object is the basis of material identification and detection.For artificial microstructure materials with low reflectivity.There has set up research about scattering characteristics according to the basic theory of bidirectional reflectance distribution function(BRDF)and polarization degree.Which built the measurement system of artificial microstructure material in laser illumination conditions.This paper used the black silicon and black aluminum as the material be tested.Measuring the scattering field distribution and the polarization characteristics on material surface,and analyzes the different microstructure produce polarization mechanism of fluctuation.So as to realize the identification and distinction of different materials.The results have shown that the scattering distribution of micro-structured surfaces and scatter light with random rough surface scattering field distributions are quite different,and BRDF value changes with measured parameters.But the scattering field distributions of different microstructures are similar,which has the lower reflectance values.Conversely,there have the obvious differences of different micro-structured surfaces for polarization capability of scattered light in numerical value and distribution.The polarization curve of scattered light changes with the incident angle and the receive angle,also shown that the peaks and valleys,which range are different.Meanwhile.the polarization ability of black aluminum is stronger than black silicon,which shows the difference between two kinds of microstructures.This paper results have provided a theory and experimental basis for the detection and identification of artificial microstructure materials research.At the same time,also could be the valuable references for research the artificial microstructure material in the application of stealth and detection.
