Computer vision plays an important roles in high precision detection for its non-contact,non-destructive,high-precision features.A method for measuring planar geometry of parts is designed.The measurement program is developed.Three types planar geometry of parts can be measured by the program.(1)Design of the computer vision inspection system: the software is designed according to the requirements of the planar geometry measurement.The experimental platform is constructed and the computer vision system is calibrated.(2)Design of the image processing algorithm: The basic principles of the various image processing methods is analyzed.The image processing effect in the actual image is compared;The image processing algorithm is selected.(3)The corner,line,and arc characteristics in the image is analyzed.The key technology in the planar geometric measurement of parts is studied.The key technology in the parts size measurement system is applied.The least squares method is used in the only round parts. The Hough transform is used in the polygon parts.The complex parts is measured by Hough transform according to find the key points.(4)The software of the planar geometry parts measurement is developed.The size of the parts is provided by reading the drawings of the DXF file.The planar geometric of the parts is measured in the measuring system.The experimental results of the previous algorithm and the experimental results are analyzed.
