| The periodical of Central Daily News-Study of Newspaper was founded in October 1946,which is a special periodical concerns journalism established by the then President of the Central Daily News-Study of Newspaper,Ma Eyeing,in line with the pursuit of “newspaper magazine”.Among the nine periodicals running at the same time,Ma Xingye paid special attention to Study of Newspaper,and served as editor in chief of it in person.Moreover,he wrote a number of articles for it.Study of Newspaper not only recorded the general situation of the journalism under the strict control of Nationalist Party at that time,introducing the development of foreign journalism,but also discussed the topics like freedom of the press which are nuclear and the sensitive.This paper uses the method of historical literature,which is based on the development and main columns of the periodical,analyzing the background of the founding of Study of Newspaper,its authors and content.What's more,the paper will give a comparative analysis on the the concept it constructs with the news viewpoint concept dominating at the last days of Nationalist Party in mainland China,and then analyzes and reviews its special value and significance.Research shows that Study of Newspaper is the product of the modification of newspaper magazine by Ma Xingye under the background of enterprise reform carried out by the party newspaper of Nationalist Party,it is also a garden for journalists to exchange ideas and explore business.The authors are editors and special contributors who are basically linked by Central Political University Journalism,and Ma Xingye acts as the core;The periodical actively spread the idea of "freedom of the press",acting as the headquarter of the media criticism.It is an important window to understand the development of journalism at home and abroad,the daily work and life reporters and editors,and it is also the embodiment of the Nationalist Party newspaper journalism and one of the main carrier. |
