LED based free space optical communication is a novel optical wireless communication scheme using LED as the transmitter.In the LED FSO communication system,the signal modulates the LED optical power and transmit through free space channel.With the purpose of system implementation and performance analysis,the paper research the image sensors based LED FSO communication system and the photodiode based LED FSO communication system.The demodulation algorithm for the single-input single-output and the multi-input multi-output IS LED FSO is proposed.The system performance analysis for the MIMO IS LED FSO system based on the stray light influence is given.For the long distance application,a high power LED driver circuit is studied as well as the receive units circuit.In addition,the LED memoryless nonlinear model is analyzed.A empirical Gaussian model for the predistortion algorithm is given. |
