As one of the key technology of the fourth generation and the fifth generation mobile communication system, the Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output(MIMO)technology will see a widespread application based on the fact that it has greatly increased spectral efficiency and channel capacity of communication system.Similarly, cooperative relay technology is also an important wireless communication technology, which can bring spatial diversity and improve the reliability of communication system by effectively expanding the coverage of communication networks and resisting long-distance signal fading. The current research on wireless communication is mainly based on ideal channel state information. However, there is always a delay between relay and antenna selection and data transmission, and outdated channel state information is likely to reduce the performance of system. This paper studies the performance of MIMO cooperative relay network according to the outdated channel state information, which is compared with the ideal situation. The main tasks are as follows:(1)In the Amplify-and-Forward(AF)MIMO cooperative communication system,a transmitter antenna selection method considering outdated channel state information is proposed considering the outdated channel state information, and the receiver uses the selective combining method, getting the system outage probability expression and the gradual expression? The influence of outdated channel state information and co-channel interference on the performance of AF MIMO cooperative communication system is analyzed and compared with the ideal channel state information? The numerical and simulation results show that the outdated channel state information can causes a serious degradation of system performance,at the same time, the smaller the channel correlation coefficient is,the worse the system performance is,with the increase of the number of node antennas, the outage probability is reduced and the system performance is improved.(2)In order to cope with the influence of outdated channel state information on the antenna selection performance of MIMO cooperative communication system and considering the balance between channel prediction complexity and performance accuracy,a method of predicting signal-to-interference ratio is proposed, and the antenna is selected by the method. The simulation results show that the proposed method has better performance than the antenna selection method based on outdated channel state information, and the degree of outdated channel is lighter, the greater the degree of improvement in outage performance.
