Mobile augmented reality applications are applications that implement augmented reality technology. Augmented reality technology is a hot issue in computer vision research. It realizes the fusion effect between virtual augmented reality information and mobile terminal ingestion scene by superimposing the virtual information generated by the computer in the real environment. In the future, mobile augmented reality applications will appear in everyone's smart phones, however, mobile augmented reality using traditional networking solutions, there will be a large delay. How to reduce the latency of mobile augmented reality applications is a top priority. The main purpose of this paper is to solve the problem of high latency and low quality of user experience when using mobile augmented reality application by studying the mobile edge computing and proposing the networking solution of building the server in the edge network for mobile augmented reality application. In this paper, a mobile augmented reality application for smart campus is developed, and the QoE value of the mobile augmented reality application is evaluated by the QoE model of mobile augmented reality application service. It is verified that the network provided by the proposed scheme enhances the user User experience quality when using mobile augmented reality applications. This paper mainly completes the following work:First of all, the research status of the application of mobile network and mobile augmented reality is discussed. The origin of the mobile augmented reality application and the key technology are introduced. The research status of the traditional cloud computing and the mobile edge Research on the Computational Networking. Then, through the study of MEC, a scheme of networking for MEC is proposed. Through the convergence of the access network and the edge server, using the virtual switch (OpenvSwitch) and network virtualization technology to achieve the networking program. The server at the edge of the network provides computing and storage capabilities for mobile augmented reality applications, which can significantly reduce the latency of mobile augmented reality applications and improve the user experience quality of mobile augmented reality applications. In this paper, a mobile augmented reality application based on smart campus is developed, which is implemented in the form of mobile phone app, including the design of mobile augmented reality application system. The framework of mobile augmented reality application system is designed and constructed. Finally, the network simulator is used to set the delay and packet loss rate of the edge network and simulate the network provided by the different networking schemes. Using the QoE evaluation model proposed in this paper, the QoE values of mobile augmented reality applications using different networking schemes are evaluated. The QoE value is analyzed in detail, which proves that the network using the proposed scheme can improve the performance of mobile augmented reality application and reduce the delay, thus greatly improving the user experience quality when using mobile augmented reality application.Through the study of this topic, this paper proposes a networking scheme combining the access network and the edge server to provide low latency and high bandwidth network environment for mobile augmented reality applications. In order to verify that the network scheme can reduce the network delay and improve the quality of user experience, this paper develops a mobile augmented reality application based on intelligent campus. In this paper, we propose a mobile augmented reality application QoE evaluation model, and verify that the proposed networking scheme will improve the user experience quality of mobile augmented reality applications.
