Research On Neighbor Discovery Technology In Ad Hoc Networks

With the rapid development of Ad Hoc Network,Mobile Wireless Ad Hoc Networks become the future trends and has higher requirements of neighbor discovery efficiency and reliability.Neighbor discovery is the key technology to ensure quick building and deployment of Ad Hoc Network.This paper mainly studied some importance models in wireless organizational network.The characteristics of directional antenna enable network to have the larger coverage area,stronger capacity of resisting disturbance,more spatial reuse and higher energy efficiency than that of omnidirectional antenna under the same power.Then,it also studied the complicated channel model and network models.As Mobile Wireless Ad Hoc Network is the inexorable trend,here introduce some common motion models.Birthday protocol-based Node Discovery Algorithm and Node Discovery Algorithm based on Gossip-Based protocol are two primary node discovery algorithm.Birthday protocol-based Node Discovery Algorithm is inspired by the famous Birthday paradox and Node Discovery Algorithm based on Gossip-Based protocol is an efficient node discovery algorithm built on the most basic direct discovery algorithm,introducing rumor-spreading mechanism.Exponential backoff algorithm is an important algorithm of CSMA/CA mechanism in IEEE802.11 protocol and an important method to handle collisions in wireless network.Therefore,this paper proposed a node discovery algorithm based on exponential backoff,which introduces exponential backoff algorithm on the basis of gossip-base,effectively dealing with collisions in network.Simulation results showed that,this program achieves a big promotion in performance,discovery efficiency and discovery time comparing to the traditional algorithms,and has better adaptability to complex network,maintaining good performance in high density network scenarios.Node discovery algorithm based on exponential backoff enables faster and more efficient quick building and deployment of Ad Hoc Network.This algorithm can be applied to more comprehensive Ad Hoc Network environment and has important significance to the development of future wireless organizational network.
