Smart Home is residential as a platform, the use of advanced computer technology,network communication technology, integrated wiring technology, intelligent control technology, security technology, audio and video technology, automatic control technology will be associated with Smart Home's life of various Smart Home facilities in together. It is the integration of the sensor device, Home Furnishing home appliances, security equipment and the electrical facilities which related with life. Besides the connect of the Internet and GSM networks make monitoring, make communication, make management and make remote control,management system construction of residential facilities and family agenda, improve safety, convenience, comfort, artistic of the Smart Home, and realize environmental protection and energy saving residential environment.Traditional Central Control Unit in Smart Home System, are all integrate control method in the design. The user of the Smart Home System can not more participate in Smart Home System environment control, also can not fully understand the conditions of Smart Home System environment. The design of human resources is relatively small.It is expensive and a complex design.This design aimed at the demand of the smart home system.Users can pass through the remote and more flexible interaction controling the operation of the household facilities,either pass through widespread popularization of mobile phone (SMS and mobile application software) to control, can pass through the GPRS network to control, can be directly operated on the Internet, can be operated on the Client, and can pass through human-machine interaction interface (GUI) to control. It can implement the functions of the family's common accidents collection, alarming and processing, and high security. User can know the health and safety status of Smart Home environment anytime and anywhere.This paper adopts MSP430F5438 single-chip microcomputer as main control chip of TI Company,SIMCOM's SIM900A as the main part of the GSM/GPRS module,and adopted the Diwen Company's DGUS electronic screen and Shenzhen Hailinke Electronic Company's Uart-Wifi module. It can realize the function on the basis of system's requirements, and provide the interface of promotion and redevelopment.It is convenient to update and develop.Based on the integration of IAR compiler for the design of the software development environment, including serial communication, the AT command set control the GSM/GPRS module, DGUS command set control touch screen and collect datas, analysising and responseing. It realize the function of software system's design,finally combine hardware and software, finish the adjustment of the system. And it has made the necessary for system stability and functional testing.
