The fusion of infrared polarization image and light intensity image has a very important role in military fields such as war reconnaissance,ir imaging guidance,sea target monitoring and civilian fields such as public safety video surveillance,medical detection platform,crop growth detection.At present,the fusion of two kinds of images is a combination of their own advantages,but in the actual application,the difference characteristics of the two types of images are difficult to effectively determine in advance,and the difference feature types and magnitude between the two images are random changes,especially the inter-frame changes of dynamic image are more complex.It is difficult to accurately determine the difference between the two types of images,which makes the fusion algorithm is difficult to play an effective role and has become a bottleneck in the two types of images fusion.In order to solve this problem,this paper studies the sensitivity model of infrared polarization and light intensity images.The purpose of this paper is to accurately perceive the main differences between the two kinds of images,and to lay the foundation for the image fusion.In this paper,we study the perceptual process of mimic octopus to threatening organisms in living environment,and construct the sensitivity model of mimic octopus.We analyze the correspondence between the threat biological and the difference characteristics of the infrared polarized image and light intensity image,and according to sensitivity model of mimic octopus construct the differential feature sensitivity model of two types images.The perceptual model includes three modules,namely,image difference extraction,feature selection and important difference feature sensing.The difference feature between the infraredpolarization and the intensity image is accurately perceived by the difference feature sensing method.In order to verify the accuracy of the perceptual model,we use the subjective verification method and the side validation method which fusion of infrared polarization image and the intensity image.The experimental results show that the perceived difference features between the infrared polarization image and the light intensity image by the model are consistent with the subjective perception of the human eyes.The corresponding fusion algorithm is selected according to the perceived difference characteristics.After fusion,the fusion quality is good and the accuracy of the perception model can be verified.
