A Study On The Methods Of Semantic Enrichment Of Digital Resources

With the large-scale emergence of digital resources and the consistent changing of user information demand today,the traditional keywords retrieval cannot meet the demand of the more complex information search and provide sufficient support.Since the concept of semantic web is put forward,the semantization of digital resources has been a hot research topic quickly.In order to describe the digital resource accurately,comprehensively and deeply,the semantic enrichment of digital resources become the inevitable means to optimize resources and improve the service level.This dissertation studies the metadata enrichment and content enrichment of digital resources,hoping to be a reference to the current research on the semantic enrichment of digital resources.The thesis is divided into five parts.Firstly,the introduction part introduces the background and significance,research ideas and research methods,and analyzes the related research and so on.Secondly,the thesis analyzes the related questions of the semantic enrichment of digital resources,and expounds the basic concepts,four theory and three major technology in order to guide and support the whole process of semantic enrichment.Thirdly,this dissertation introduces semantic enrichment method based on internal information of digital resources and their main process,which involves metadata,ontology,semantic metadata and the combination of metadata and econometric analysis methods.Fourthly,this dissertation introduces semantic enrichment method based on external information of digital resources and their main process,which constructs semantic enrichment multi-level model,including resource layer,information extraction layer,semantic enrichment layer,formalized representation layer.Fifthly,the thesis constructs geographic bibliographical ontology,and makes Instantiation analysis respectively from two aspects of metadata and content.Sixthly,the concluding part concludes the research content,the deficiencies,the future development direction of the research subject.
