Urban landscape,as a medium of "relational" space,spreads in the visual media,strengthening urban cognitive and integrating urban social relationship for its important communication function,but in the past of most studies,the communication of urban research has focused on the city's image publicity level,lacking of the perspective of city social relation and space integration.Other entities in the space of the most representative urban landscape,is often present in the midst of audio-visual media,its itself as a "relational" space medium properties tending to be ignored.Sourcing from Chicago University related theory,combining with the relevant subjects such as sociology,psychology,clear space entity itself is not only a social attribute,also is in the nature of the medium of communication transmission,analyzing the spread of urban landscape value from the aspects as waiters,audience,communication content,especially differing from transmission value of visual media and electronic media,specifically including how to use of the urban landscape in the media,the audience how to understand and perceive the city through the medium of urban landscape,urban landscape as a carrier medium text contents of all kinds of city processing effect,etc.As the urban landscape itself is the existence of the space is also a kind of entity,the connection with social relations and spatial relationship is relatively complex,besides the space has function to shape significance,the urban landscape in different geographic environment and the humanities,as well as economic conditions has generated multiple meaning,also has condensed the people memory and perception of the city.Explore the urban landscape as a medium for waiters,audience,and the contents of the relationship between the three action problem,aims to provides a diverse city space build theoretical thinking for the spread of urban activities from the perspectives of space vector.This paper also refers to the typical cases of some domestic cities,analyzing the typical urban landscape in the role of local urban communication activity,looking for its unique value as a medium of space in the city spread,mining city landscape in urban role to connection and communication between main body,so fromexamples we can verify the effectiveness of the urban landscape of media properties,also proved its communication value.
