Measurement technology represents a country's level of science and industry development to some extent,with the widely application of micro size parts in modern manufacturing industry,putting forward higher requirements to the measurement accuracy,measurement efficiency and the degree of measurement automation,image measurement technology arises with this demand at the historic moment.Compared with the traditional measurement method,image measurement technology with high precision and high efficiency,non-contact,flexibility,wide dynamic range and high degree of automation,being suitable for some scene that traditional measurement methods can't achieve,so the image measurement technology research has very important meaning and value.Digital image processing is the basis of image measurement,this paper first analyzed the method of gray image enhancement,this method enhanced the gray level difference between the target and the background,highlighted useful information,summarizes the sources and types of noise,proposed common filtering denoising method to depress the noise.In the aspect of edge detection,summarized the pixel level edge detection and sub-pixel edge detection operator,which focused on the canny edge detection operator and Gauss fitting sub-pixel edge detection operator,and improved the shortcomings of the algorithm,found that the improved algorithm can improve the precision of edge location through the simulation experiment.The latter part of his paper introduced the design and establishment of image measurement system in detail.In the aspect of hardware,summarized the composition of the system hardware,the arrangement of the system and the requirement of the system,and the reason of the system measurement error is analyzed,At the same time,the cause of the system measurement error is analyzed.In the software aspect,the system can carry on the calibration of standard block,measure the physical dimensions of micro parts and the angle of the optical fiber end face.Through the arrangement of the measurement data,the measurement results have reached a higher accuracy.In addition,the system can also achieve some other commonly used image processing commands.This paper studied the method of measuring the geometric parameters of micro parts based on Canny operator and Gauss fitting sub-pixel edge location operator,the MATLAB software simulation results showed that the proposed method was of high measuring accuracy and short operation time,had a certain practicality.
