With the growing development of wireless access technology,and the large-scale deployment of diversified network infrastructure,as well as the further integration of mobile communication and Internet technology,the number of terminals which comes equipped with multiple network interfaces increased.How to integrate multi-interface technology to achieve parallel multi-path data transmissions has become a hot topic of research.However,the TCP protocol due to the feature of single path delivery cannot effectively support multi-interface technology.In order to tackle this matter,the IETF organization in 2011 issued a multipath TCP protocol standard(MPTCP),enabling the terminal user can be able to use the multiple network interfaces to transfer data packet over multiple path,thus improving the network resource utilization and perfomance.MPTCP can combine the traditional TCP protocol and multi-interface technology to realize the parallel data transmission over multiple links,so as to achieve the purpose of compatibility with current network devices,application interfaces and protocols.Therefore,the MPTCP is considered to replace TCP as the core protocol of the future Internet transport layer.However,we analysed the existing Concurrent Multipath Transfer(CMT)and MPTCP related papers and protocol standards.It is easy to trigger the data packets out-of-sequence transmission and buffer block when MPTCP adopts an inappropriate data scheduling mechanism.Due to the lack of cooperative design of cross-layer and of comprehensive cognitive of the transmission parameters in the current multi-path data scheduling mechanism,we propose a multiple attribute-aware data scheduling strategy for MPTCP(MPTCP-MA2).By considering the two performance parameters of the round trip delay and the congestion window,the packets are distributed into all available path adaptively.This paper firstly build heterogeneous and homogeneous wireless network scenarios by the NS2 simulation platform.Then,we analyzed and compared the throughput performance of RRDS,RTTDS and MPTCP-MA2.The simulation result shed light on how MPTCP-MA2 achieves a little higher throughput than existing solutions.In addition,we also design a Cross-layer Cooperative Multipath Data Scheduling Strategy in MPTCP-based Mobile Wireless Networks(MPTCP-CC2).This scheme is able to actively perceive the state of the other layers,and build a novel path quality perception model by jointly considering the characteristics of physical layer and transport layer.This paper set up a wireless mobile network simulation scenarios and modify the NS2 code.Then we analyzed and compared the throughput performance of RRDS and MPTCP-CC2 in their movement process.The simulation result indicates that the average throughput of improved protocol is better than RRDS with 6.39% improvements.This part will provide a useful reference for MPTCP protocol to transmit data over heterogeneous mobile network environment in the future.
