Mobile ad hoc network is a temporary multi hop autonomous network composed of a group of mobile terminals with wireless transceivers.MANET is not relied on any basic infrastructure and without control center.MANET has strong survivability and is suitable for networking difficult environment.Based on these advantages,MANET plays an important role in the military field and has a wide application in the civil field.MANET has the characteristics of wireless channel,node mobility and freedom of node to join or leave the network,which leads to the dynamic change of network topology and point-to-point communication failure.At present,multi route transport on MANET only uses one route as transmission route in one session,and the routing is a single route at a certain observation point.We start with the routing protocol and study the parallel routing transmission to improve the end-to-end data transmission reliability.In this paper,we first summarize some routing protocols in MANET,and analyze the working mechanism of AODV and AOMDV protocol.AOMDV routing protocol uses only one main shortest route in the transmission of data,and it does not maintain alternative routes.This paper bases on AOMDV routing protocol,establish and maintain multiple disjoint routes,then use multiple disjoint routing in a parallel manner.Then we introduce the threshold system principle and a kind of excellent erasure code——RS code,then use RS code as an example to introduce how to use the erasure code to achieve N routing in any K routing without interruption of data coding and recovery.Finally build data coding and recovery on multiple routes to realize parallel routing transmission in MANET.The simulation tool used in this paper is NS-3 network simulator.NS-3 simulator does not provide AOMDV module,so we need to extend a new routing protocol module from AODV which already exists in NS-3.As to realize the establishment and maintenance of multiple routes,with the data coding and recovery mechanism,we can realize parallel routing transmission.In this paper,we firstly test the new multiple routing protocol module,which can be used to build and maintain multiple routes.Then we run the simulation for parallel routing transmission.The results show that the parallel routing transmission in MANET can improve the reliability of packet transmission under certain conditions.
