In the background of manufacturing industry transformation and upgrading,and the maturation of robot automated production,robot education has become a hot spot in today's society,showing broad prospects for development.Higher vocational colleges play an important role in the education and training of robots as an educational unit for training higher technical and applied talents.However,there are many problems in the existing educational robot products,which cannot fully meet the needs of teachers' teaching and students' learning.With the increasing maturation and improvement of the application of user research in product design,it is the appeal of more and more users to apply the user research to the design of educational robot,which is suitable for both teaching and learning,from the perspective of users.As far as the domestic research status is concerned,the research on educational robot products used in higher vocational colleges carried out later.The researchers focused on the field of technology,and made little research into the use of educational robot products.Adhering to the user-centered design theory,two types of users,both teachers and students,were thoroughly analyzed and discussed in this thesis taking user research as the starting point,to obtain the needs of different users for educational robot products.Then the analysis and design of educational robot products was implemented,and users were involved in the entire process.The first part of this thesis is a brief overview of educational robot product,including the background of application of educational robot in higher vocational colleges,the difference and relation between educational robots and normal industrial robots,and the existing problems of present educational robot products.Then design concept of educational robot is proposed on the basis of user research.The second part is the requirement analysis aimed at product users.User research methods suitable for different users are selected,and user requirement is divided into three aspects,teaching goals and contents,teachers and students,for research.By qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods including literature search,questionnaire survey,in-depth interview and focus group,user requirements are excavated deeply,and product requirement points are sorted out.The third part is the analysis of product design factors.Products are analyzed mainly from four aspects,including function,styling,CMF and human-machine interaction.As for function,functional priorities are classified based on user requirements.As for styling and CMF,the user requirements towards styling are obtained by styling and CMF preference test.As for human-machine interaction,the human-machine interaction features of educational robot products is classified and analyzed,and the interaction principles of human-machine interface is refined.Finally,the design principles of educational robot product are proposed from aspects of safety,education,joyfulness,innovation and adaption.The fourth part is a design case,desktop six-axis educational robot project for higher vocational colleges,based on the actual project of Jinan Alexander Intelligent Technology Company.An educational robot product is designed for both teachers and students of robot related majors.During the design process,design schemes are screened from the angle of designers and users,and the product is revised and adjusted repeatedly to complete the design of educational robot products.In this thesis,user research is integrated into the whole design process of educational robot products.The relationship between users and product factors,including function,styling,CMF and human-machine interaction,is analyzed,and the factors affecting the usage of educational robot are explored.Through the design of educational robot product,the learning efficiency of students is increased,the interest in robot learning is enhanced,and capability in the teamwork,logical thinking and comprehensive practice is cultivated.This research can also provide reference to the future product design of educational robot.
