As the standard of mobile communication system of a new generation, LTE(Long Term Evolution) draws much attention from academic and engineering fields. The studies on LTE, in recent years, are numerous and keeping increasing. This thesis, will first conclude the rich academic achievements of predecessors and then build platform according to LTE standards and construct two important physical channels of LTE:PBCH (Physical Broadcast Channel) and PUCCH(Physical Uplink Control Channel).Meanwhile, polar codes are an emerging and powerful channel codes. So this thesis studies adaptive coded modulation based on polar codes in LTE channels.PBCH (Physical Broadcast Channel) an important channel of TD-LTE Downlink, referred to TD-LTE specification. We minutely introduce the overall sending and receiving process of PBCH (Physical Broadcast Channel) in LTE, including coding, modulation, interleaving and demodulation etc. At the same time, we, develop a matlab-based simulation platform, including the whole PBCH process.PUCCH(Physical Uplink Control Channel) is a comparatively important channel of TD-LTE uplink channel. According to LTE specification, PUCCH carries control information to support the transmission of physical downlink channel. Control information includes SR(Scheduling Request) , for demanding uplink resource; HARQ ACK/NACK, for HARQ checking of the data of downlink channel; CSI(Channel State Information), for informing eNodeB (base station)the quality of downlink channel.Since the uplink control information for base station may be different ,PUCCH is divided into six formats: format 1,1a,1b/2,2a,2b. This thesis builds a matlab-based simulation platform PUCCH, including sending, channel and receiving. In the following, we focus on the study of adaptive coding based on the polar code on TD-LTE. By regarding the LTE channel as the parallel channel, we use parallel channel theory to construct the polar codes so as to match the fading channel and improve the throughput. We theoretically give the formula of calculation of equivalent SNR of the parallel channel. Finally, we give the simulation to demonstrate advantage on throughput by the proposed method.
