In recent years,with the increasing demand for communication quality and service,the fivth generation communication has become the future direction of mobile communication development,followed by the birth of a series of new physical layer transmission technology.Index Modulation(IM)is a new type of physical layer transmission technology developed in recent years.According to the communication resources used,index modulation can be divided into frequency domain index modulation and spatial domain index modulation.In this thesis,based on frequency domain index modulation technology and spatial domain index modulation technology,and use LabVIEW software programming in a wide range of software radio platform to build a hardware test platform,the performance of the index modulation has been verified.This thesis specifically includes the following work:The first chapter summarizes the development of mobile communication,and briefly summarizes the research status of index modulation technology and the significance of software wireless platform in wireless communication.The second chapter mainly introduces the basic principle of frequency domain index modulation technology and the principle of spatial domain index modulation technology.It also introduces the universal software radio peripheral reconfigrable input/out(USRP RIO)equipment used in the hardware platform and the LabVIEW software used to build the hardware platform.In the third chapter,the spatial domain index modulation orthogonal frequency division multiple(OFDM)system technology is studied,and the feasible technology scheme is put forward under the condition of hardware implementation,and the spatial domain index modulation OFDM and space frequency block code OFDM hybrid system are verified by LabVIEW software and multiple USRP RIO devices provided by National Intruments Platform,and through the simulation performance and verification platform to verify the two aspects to verify the spatial domain index modulation OFDM performance better than space frequency block code OFDM performance,but also clarify the value of the spatial domain index modulation technology research.The fourth chapter studies the subcarrier index modulation technology,and puts forward the feasibility scheme under the hardware implementation condition.The LabVIEW and USRP RIO are used to build the hardware verification platform of subcarrier index modulation OFDM and OFDM system,and verified by simulation and verification platform.Performance and research value of subcarrier index modulation OFDM system.In this thesis,a peak to average power ratio(PAPR)suppression scheme is proposed to solve the PAPR problem of OFDM system.Chapter 5 is the summary of the thesis,and the discussion of the next stage may require research work.
