With the development of network,the research on network technology has been gradually deepened,and developes a variety of new network technologies to meet the growing demand.As a new network frame,Vector Network has developed because of the advantages in scalability,QoS,robustness and security.This kind of network framework separates data layer and control layer,so it can reduce the cost of devices and improve the cost-efficacy.Current IP network is based on two-way link network model.Although this kind of model meets the majority of network scenarios,it loses the generality.In the real world,two-way link network is not suitable for many scenarios,such as radio and television networks.Broadcast television network is a kind of network frames whose download traffic is much larger than the upload traffic.In this case,it possesses the characteristic of one-way link.Vector Network can not only express the system on one-way link but also express the system on two-way link by combining two one-way link to a two-way link,so vector network based on one-way link has universality.So the network topology research for unidirectional links has a practical significance.The main work is as follows:(1)A new method of topology collection in one-way vector network is proposed,in which nodes detect and leader reports,and signaling packet format and processing mechanism are designed.(2)Leader election method for one-way vector network is proposed,and signaling packets are designed.(3)A simulation system is designed.The author realizes the topology detection system and leader selection system with C program by multi thread programming method,and gets correct topology.In this thesis,the topology detection algorithm is proposed,which is suitable for vector network and obtains the correct network topology.
