In recent years, most of the auxiliary network control system in domestic thermal power plants is controlled by the traditional independent monitoring system,and developing to centralized monitoring for the integration of main and auxiliary. The auxiliary network control system realizes the centralized monitoring and management of the distributed control of thermal power unit peripheral auxiliary power generation equipment.It is convenient for the operater to control and monitor, reduces the daily maintenance work for the engineer, improves the working efficiency of the whole network, ensure the continuous and stable operation of the system,and makes the system has high reliability, high efficiency and high precision,improves the automation level of power plant.This article researches the design and analysis of auxiliary control system for 1000MW unit of the coal fired power plant, which is applied in Anhui Huainan Pingwei Power Plant. In the study of a large scale power plant auxiliary control system technology and it's controlling need, the auxiliary control system network artchitecture is designed, the hardware configuration is completed, the control programs also the HMI are created, and the system field bus devices is configed. Under the centralized control of the network structure,with Emerson's ovation DCS control system, it can makes a variety of process system and operation, and makes the whole control system maintenance and reliability is greatly improvedMeanwhile, it is proved that the system is able to control the auxiliary process effectively, reduce the daily maintenance work for the engineer,achieve the combination of management and control favorably by connecting to the management information system. At present, this system implemented successfully gets good evaluation.
