| The organized way of news production is now transforming to socialized production methods and at the same time, the roles and functions of news practitioners are also changing. By studying the developing process of Dudu news app and Zhihu news app (former name of Dudu), this paper makes analyses about the development history, routine news production and news concepts in order to find the development logic, news production mechanism and roles of editors. Moreover, this paper also tries to explore the value of socialized news production method and roles of news practitioners in the transforming period of news.From the sociology perspective of news production, this paper adopts research methods including observations and interviews. Based on the observations of the editorial department in Zhihu News, it's found that more and more subscribers are participating in the process of editing news which means that the news production method is more and more socialized.Based on the analyses of the operation methods for social news, editing processes and principles as well as the routine work of news practitioners, it could be concluded that to proper exploit the value of subscribers is the key to social news production.As an Internet based marketing media, Internet thinking and tools are reshaping the whole working process, during which time the news practitioners pursuing the authentic and object principles are faced with viewing pressures.By making analyses on Dudu news and Zhihu news, it could be seen that editors should be responsible for both the contents and the products in the deepening process of socialized news production. Though subscribers can participate in the process of news production, it seems that this method only works in a limited range. |
