With the rapid development of Internet,automotive electronics applications steer for intelligent vehicle and vehicle networking from entertainment system.As a result,the demand for the speed,capacity and efficiency of flash memory is becoming more and more high,and the traditional Nor Flash is more difficult to meet the requirements of the market.In order to solve this dilemma,the industry appeared OCTA Flash,this new type of flash memory is characterized by high speed,high performance and low power consumption,it is expected to bring the gospel to the user.At present,there is no specific controller for this device,so it will be of great practical significance to design a stable and high performance control system for the chip.This paper uses Zedboard as the development platform.The hardware and software collaboration technology is adopted.The design of new Nor Flash control system is proposed,which can realize the operation requirements of the OCTA Nor Flash,such as reading and writing,programming and erasing of the new flash memory devices.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The development of the mainstream flash memory devices in the market and the advantages and disadvantages of various types of flash memory are analyzed.The operation principle and timing requirements of OCTA Nor Flash are discussed.(2)The defects of traditional pure hardware or pure software design methods are analyzed,and the characteristics and development process of the hardware and software collaboration technology are studied.This paper introduces the characteristics,structure and the internal AXI interface bus of Xilinx,and we studied the software and hardware collaborative development tools.(3)We use Zedboard development board as the platform.The hardware and software of the design are divided.The hardware controller is implemented on the PL side of theZynq-7000,it can meet the requirements of the operation sequence of the device.The driver and application program are developed on the PS side,and the performance of the control system is stable and meets the requirements.
