The most production's processing need to measure the surface temperature.However,to measure the surface temperature of moving objects,almost all workers track the target by manual handheld infrared thermometer.Therefore,it's necessary to design a set of automatic temperature measuring system to replace the old one.With this system,not only we can reduce the labor intensity,but also improve the accuracy and efficiency of processing.The paper is based on a large PVC glove production line which needs to detect the temperature of the glove molds with a uniform motion.This system is including mechanical design,electrical control system design,and system monitoring software development.All of the three sections contain a detail analysis,design and research.The key of the mechanical structure design is to have the moving track mechanism well designed.The design is adopting a rotary movement manner.With serious mechanism analysis and calculation,we thought out a cam mechanism.The infrared temperature sensor along the edge of cam to track the movement of the glove molds.The aim of this design is to fix the distance between the sensor and objects so that the sensor could have enough of response time to accurately measure the surface temperature of the molds.Electrical control based on programmable logic controller(PLC)control program,the key is the design algorithm of PLC program.The design algorithm should cut the cam curve into multiple parts,and each of which need to correspond to pulse output frequency of a control motor.The more parts the curve divided,the greater accurate the sensor can track.The key of the development of the system monitoring software is the way of telecommunication modes and communication parameter setting.We chose RS-485 serial port connections to realize the communication between the S7-200 PLC and the Wei lun through a touch screen.After those studies,we set up a laboratory-grade and the automatic temperature measuring system.And the system is now running in a good condition which provide essential data for the practical temperature measurement system.However,for the lack of theoretical knowledge and practical experience,the system needs further improvement,such as a more perfect tracking curve and further research of control algorithms.
