Backhand touch navel, clavicle coins, A4 waist and other physical aesthetic challenge rising in the social media in2016 , the protagonist of these challenges is undoubtedly the female. In fact, the female body has always been the focus of attention,but also the focus of academic research. This paper chooses the female body as the object of study, through the different periods of the phenomenon of materialization and consumption of Female body in the social media and the phenomenon of the dissemination of the way to sort out and the emerging physical aesthetic challenges, in order to discover the new features of Female body materialization and consumption phenomenon under the social media, analyze and review the causes of this phenomenon.Firstly, the author through the literature analysis?text analysis?interview to find new features of the phenomenon of materialization and consumption of female body:Focusing on social participation and self-sharing pleasure,the "re-discipline" and the physical aesthetic standards, carnival and social media issues of the wonders. These characteristics are the unique characteristics of the social media context, the body of the aesthetic challenges and print media and electronic media, the biggest difference is that women pay more attention to the sharing of self and sharing the pleasure of the process.Secondly, finding the reasons of these new features through this research. These reasons include the characteristics of social media communication: interactivity,efficiency and lack of gatekeepers; the rise of micro-culture; female "false self" social psychology and social media commercial marketing. It is these factors that more focus on sharing pleasure, carnival and other new features in the phenomenon of materialization and consumption of female body in the social media.Finally, the author reviewed the phenomenon of materialization and consumption of female body in the social media. In this body aesthetic standards challenge, although the performance of women pay more attention to self-active sharing,but because of the diversity of the main body,resulting in women's loss of self-awareness,while women fell into the cycle of "convergence and herd".
