With the rapid development of electronic information industry,microwave signal processing devices are widely used.At the same time,its requirements are also rising.Such as the magnetoelectric dual tunable microwave devices get more and more attention which can achieve both wide band adjustment and a small band of fine adjustment.Compared with other devices,the magnetostatic wave device attracts many researchers with the advantages of high frequency,low loss,small volume and convenient integration.How to make full use of the slow wave characteristics of the magnetostatic wave excited by the ferromagnetic material to achieve the magnetic field adjustment and how to achieve the operating frequency and other indicators of electronic control adjustable at the same time,now has become a hot topic in the relevant research.Aiming at this important research topic,this paper focuses on the research design of magnetostatic surface wave device and the basic research of layered magnetoelectric coupling structure,and adopts the research model of theoretical calculation and experimental test.In this paper,the calculation model of magnetostatic surface wave excitation and transmission is established by the basic theory of magnetostatic wave,and the dispersion equation of the magnetostatic surface wave is obtained by magnetostatic approximation.By analyzing the dispersion characteristics with the help of mathematical software,we accumulated a theoretical basis for the design and production of magnetic adjustable microwave devices.The magnetoelectric coupling effect between the YIG thin film and the ferroelectric material is studied,and the magnetoelectric coupling coefficient is calculated by the constitutive equation and the boundary condition,these works provide the theoretical support to realize Electronic control.Based on the above research,by calculating the radiation resistance and the design of the transducer,this paper makes a magnetic double adjustable MSW delay line by using YIG thin film with thickness of 20?m and PMN-PT piezoelectric ceramics.The design objective is to realize the center frequency in 4.5 ~ 6.5GHz range and the group delay to 20 ~ 60 ns within the range of adjustable magnetic control,while the electric field to meet the device delay characteristics of a small range of fine adjustment.After the actual test,the result is basically the same as the theory.In the working frequency range,the change of the magnetic field per 30 Oe will lead to the drift of the center frequency of about 100 MHz.In the vicinity of the center frequency,the group delay achieves 20 ~ 60 ns magnetic field adjustment and 3ns electric field adjustment,insertion loss is about-12 dB,basically meet the requirements of indicators.
