In recent years,the rapid development of wireless communication technology,wireless communication system distribution becomes extremely heavy.The growing demand for wireless services and increasingly serious shortage of spectrum resources have become obstacles to the development of wireless communication.In this context,the researchers proposed to use orbital angular momentum multiplexing technology to enhance wireless communication capacity.Orbital angular momentum as a new multiplexing technology of wireless communication,The theory of which comes from quantum theory in quantum mechanics.If this technology can be put into practical use,the bandwidth of wireless communication can be greatly broadened,and the spectrum efficiency can be effectively improved.Therefore,research on the orbital angular momentum of the antenna is of great significance to the development of wireless communication.In this thesis,we study the orbital angular momentum antenna.This paper introduces the research background and significance of the vortex electromagnetic wave.The research status of the orbital angular momentum antennas in recent years is reviewed.At the same time,this paper describes the theoretical basis of the orbital angular momentum,which provides theoretical support for the design of the antenna.In this paper,a new method of orbital angular momentum is presented.Based on this method,a kind of orbital angular momentum horn antenna is designed.The design principle is based on that the phase factor can be obtained by the combination of polarization degenerate mode in circular waveguide.Theoretical analysis shows that the orbital angular momentum of ?m and ?(m-1)order can be obtained by using the mnTE ormnTM modes in the waveguide.The researches use HFSS and FEKO to simulate antenna,the antenna working at X band.In order to achieve the superposition of orthogonal polarization degenerate mode,the antenna with two feed ports.The experimental results show that the r and ? components of the electric field can get?2 order orbital angular momentum,and the x and y component of the electric field can get ?1 order orbital angular momentum.The measurement results are consistent with with the simulation results.This paper further research the effect of the designed antenna used as the feed of the parabolic,and the paraboloid is designed according to the characteristics of the orbital angular momentum electromagnetic wave.The increase of the parabolic reflector can significantly improve the gain of the antenna and reduce the range of the hollow beam.Moreover,after the parabolic reflection,the rotation direction of the orbital angular momentum is opposite to the feed itself.
