In recent years,as the application of cloud computing technology being used widly,the scale of data center network has been expanded.As one of the most important factors influencing the performance of data center,routing approach of data network has been a hot issue in related research.At present,the data center network is being faced with the challenge in a series of routing problems,such as the routing efficiency,multi-path routing,routing convergence speed and so on.Firstly,in this paper,it proposed a new forwarding address,named PA(Port Address),which is encoded on the basis of the port number.Then,we design a port-oriented routing approach for data center networks(Port Address Source Routing,PASR)based on the characteristics of the PA and the idea of "source routing".The routing approach mainly uses the characteristics of PA addressing and the regularity of the data center network topology to calculate the routing path from the source end to complete the communication between the nodes.In order to improve the generality of the routing approach,this paper proposed a general framework for PASR routing approach.Based on this framework,it will be more convenient to apply the PASR routing approach to various network topologies.Secondly,this paper taked example for FaceBook's next-generation of data center network architecture to elaborate the methods about how to design and implement the FaceBook's next-generation of data center network based on general routing framework.In this part,it introduced the address coding method of FaceBook-PASR routing,and the implementing of basic PASR routing algorithm and the E2E(End-To-End)fault-tolerant algorithm.With this procedure,we can design and develop PASR routing approach of other different data center network.Finally,in order to verify the feasibility and performance of FaceBook-PASR routing approach,this paper used OMNeT++ network simulation software as the experimental platform to simulate the PASR routing approach of FaceBook's next-generation data center network.Combining with the experimental results,the feasibility and performance of the PASR routing approach were analyzed.The experiment results show that the PASR routing approach can improve the network throughput and reduce the end-to-end delay,and can adapt to various communication modes.
