As the rapid growth of car ownership in our country, the traffic safety situation is still serious. All kinds of illegal driving behavior are the main cause of traffic accidents. Some provinces have introduced relevant policies and set up platforms to encourage the whole people to supervise the traffic order. People can get the illegal driving behavior evidence by taking pictures or video recording and then report it to the traffic department. Once verified, the whistleblowers will be rewarded. If this kind of policy were widely promoted, it would make a great deterrent effect to those who drive illegally and help to remind people to drive the vehicle safely. Since the illegal driving behavior is random and sudden, it is difficult to get the evidence. Now, people record the illegal driving behavior mainly through mobile phone, the vehicle traveling data recorder or other equipment. Most of those clues recorded are often lack of specific time and detail environment information, so it is difficult to be used as envidence. To address these problems, it is necessary to develop a specialized vehicle electronic device to record the evidence of illegal driving behavior while driving out, which will be of great social significance.In consideration of production and upgrade, this thesis chooses cyclone V SoC chip as the processing core. The system achieves image capturing function through video acquisition module. The real time display of image and positioning function are realized by constructing the image output logic and GPS positioning data processing logic on the SoC chip. The video capture module, image output module and GPS module are integrated by using SoC technology to complete the overall hardware design. To meet the demand of the system?s multi-task processing needs, this thesis transplants embedded Linux operating system on DE1-SoC platform. And it designs the display interface function by transplanting QT graphics library into the operating system. By using the SoC software development model, it achieves the GPS data reception and analysis. The GPS positioning data is embedded in the image frame sequence in real time by transplanting the OpenCV visual processing library. The video stream is packaged and stored in the local file system according to the AVI video coding standard after image compressed by using the JPEG encoding and decoding library. Finally, it achieves the function of one click way of saving illegal driving behavior data.The contributions in this thesis are as follows. Firstly, this thesis builds the SoC architecture of embedded system with the combination of FPGA and ARM design technology and realizes the development and application of this technology in the field of automotive electronics. Secondly, it saves the illegal driving behavior video and GPS positioning information in one click way which enhance the authenticity and legal effect of the record video. Thirdly using the SoC technology can enhance the scalability and benefit the following function upgrade and rapid commercialization.After a series of tests,The system can basically realize the function of video evidence collection of road vehicles. In case of violation when driving, it can accurately and completely record the event by pressing the key. The amount of video is small and GPS positioning information is accurate. In conclusion, the design can basically meet the requirement of the function of recording vehicle violation.
