With the development of computing technology, Physical Optics method has been widely applied to calculate Radar Cross Section. According to study of the Physical Optics on Sunway platform, this article provides a fast solution to the Radar Cross Section of electrically large targets.This paper describes the principles of Physical Optics, and analyzes how to parallel the algorithm about calculating bistatic RCS and monostatic RCS. Then the algorithm is transplanted from general CPU to domestic CPU, and the parallel efficiency and speedup are tested. Then it comes to the key point of this paper, namely, how to transplant the algorithm from general CPU to domestic heterogeneous CPU. According to tests of the algorithm performance such as algorithm hotspot, memory access, and CPI, the code segments which need to be accelerated can be found and the parallel strategy of the aid cores can be designed. In consideration of the domestic heterogeneous platform's compiler environment and basic math library, several optimization methods are proposed and the parallel efficiency is improved.Finally, the parallel scale of Physical Optics breaks through 100,000 on Sunway Blue Light platform, while the parallel efficiency up to 50%. Further, the parallel Physical Optics on the domestic heterogeneous platform named Sunway Taihu Light is designed. The parallel scale breaks through 20,000 cores groups and 128 million compute cores, which achieves the ultra-large-scale parallel computing.
