For countless millions of LED chip production,it is particularly critical to optimize the LED testing and separation machine's material distributing mechanism to improve its efficiency. If an enterprise wants to improve its benefit, create its value and improve competitiveness, improving the separation efficiency is an inevitable important subject. Abandoning the design thought of single parts lightweight, this paper takes the output torque, moment of inertia of rotating system and the design of hole layout as a whole to optimize and design, so as to achieve the purpose of improving separation efficiency.This paper takes the LED testing and separation machine's material distributing mechanism of a semiconductor testing packaging company in Guangdong as the research object, and then carries on its optimization design, mainly accomplished the research content as follo wings.(1) Virtual prototype modeling and finite element analysis. The virtual prototype model of the sorting machine is established in the three-dimensional software, and the static analysis and modal analysis of key parts are carried out in the finite element analysis software, and the strength, natural frequency and stiffness of the key parts are investigated to determine the original organization optimization space.(2) Dynamic simulation analysis. Through the dynamic simulation analysis, study the rotational inertia of the rotating system value and its changing law when the separation machine is in various kinds of motion states. Calculate angular acceleration by the moment of inertia change rule function, and calculate the time of any sort of separation, thus the theoretical efficiency of separation machine can be derived.(3) Optimize and design of separation machine's material distributing mechanism. Carry on parameterization design method for swing arm by using APDL language in ANSYS. Then finish the lightweight design of swing arm by taking geometry size as design variables and the weight of swing arm as objective function. At the same time, optimize the material receiving hole's arrangement, so the separator efficiency can be greatly improved.In this paper, through the application of finite element knowledge and dynamics simulation analysis in solving practical engineering problem, providing a reasonable and feasible solution to improve the separation efficiency of the separation machine. It is of great significance to reduce the production cost, shorten the development cycle and improve the production efficiency.
