Fundamental Research Fund Management System face the teachers of Dalian University of Technology who declare " Dalian University of Technology Fundamental Research Funds ". In recent years, information management system plays an important role in the project management of university.This thesis through the management process of Fundamental Research Fund?the admin of Fundamental Research Fund and teachers who declare the project for research and discuss, design module including user login, user e-mail activation and validation, authority management, project flow, project review, management of research funding, project management, news and e-mail notification, project data exchange and data management system.System in the operating system of Ubuntu 14.04, use MySQL database, Nginx server and excellent front-end framework Bootstrap, combined with Django framework for Python. The system uses the workflow process design mode, separate the processes and modules in order to achieve loose coupling; system information retrieval based on keyword search greatly reduces the response time for each system search; With incremental backup data as well as regular full backup strategy to ensure the safety and retrospective of system data; Nginx server using an HTTP filtering module and weighted round-robin load balancing algorithm to improve the efficiency of the system response and concurrent processing capability.Currently, Fundamental Research Management System through structural testing, functional testing, unit testing, regression testing and stress testing, has been successfully deployed in research centers Dalian University of Technology. System has been running above one year and the responses from users are effect and it simplify the office processes and to avoid the user's back and forth as before.
