For the target parameter estimation of the orthogonal-frequency-division multiplexing(OFDM) radar, the echo characteristics of OFDM radar receiving signal are analyzed, a high resolution method of joint estimation on distance and direction of arrival(DOA) based on the OFDM array radar is proposed. In narrow band, there is no couple between the distance and the angle of the target in the echo signal of OFDM radar, the distance and the angle of the target are respectively included in the distance vector and the angle vector, so the joint estimation on distance and DOA can be carried out. In this dissertation, a method of two dimensional space smoothing is discussed based on the data domain and realize the joint estimation on the distance and the DOA utilizing the high resolution method under the single snapshot circumstance. In the background of Gauss white noise, the accuracy of the high resolution method is close to the conventional beamforming method. In addition, under the single snapshot circumstance, although the super resolution method by using two dimensional space smoothing has lead to partial loss of aperture, the resolution of distance and angle are still relatively high.By analyzing the OFDM array radar, the corresponding observation matrix is proposed, and then we using the Orthogonal Matching Pursuit(OMP) algorithm, alternating direction method of multipliers algorithm and the improved Null Space Tuning(NST) reconstruction algorithm estimate the distance and angle of the target at the same time. The simulation experiments show that the algorithm can be used to realize the super resolution of OFDM array radar. The resolution of the compressed sensing algorithm is correspond to the observation matrix, as long as the grid in the angle and range is small enough, the resolution can be high enough theoretically.
