With the rapid development of 3D modeling theory and technology,more and more 3D models are applied to the field of product manufacturing and computer aided design.To achieve the fast reuse of the existing 3D model,generalized axis similarity retrieval method based on the three dimensional structure is proposed.The requirements of similarity retrieval of generalized axis parts and assembly is satisfied by the retrieval method,and the method provided for other product similarity retrieval can be referenced.On the basis of reviewing and analyzing the present research situation and retrieval method of 3D model retrieval technology,the construction of basic information description model of generalized axis similarity retrieval,the generalized axis local retrieval method,the generalized axis global retrieval method and the generalized axis recognition technology are researched from the angel of developing retrieval system in this article.The main contents of this article is as follows:In terms of the construction of basic information description model of generalized axis similarity retrieval,the attributes information of generalized axis are analyzed in detail,and the contents of the model of generalized axis parts and assembly are provided.The attributes information of model are analyzed concretely and elaborated the scientificity to be generalized axis similarity retrieval.The process approach of the extraction of generalized axis information is analyzed.In conclusion,the construction of basic information description model of generalized axis is implemented.In terms of the the generalized axis local retrieval,the attributes of parts are analyzed in details.The generalized axis local retrieval is divided into standard part retrieval and nonstandard part retrieval.The differences of feature information between parts are calculated on the basic of the Manhattan distance method,in the end,the generalized axis local similarity retrieval is implemented.The generalized axis global retrieval is divided into fuzzy retrieval and accurate retrieval.The fuzzy retrieval are achieved by comparing the functional structure and transport level of generalized axis;On the basis of fuzzy retrieval,all of the similarity results between the parts are described by structuring matrix.And considering the elements of spatial position and parts type,the generalized axis accurate retrieval is implemented.In terms of the fast recognition and extraction of the generalized axis,the method of the generalized axis fast recognition and extraction based on critical part is proposed to remove the process of manual extraction parts and assembling generalized axis.The critical part of generalized axis can be identified by searching critical field of standard parts library design of three-dimensional modeling software.Then the other parts of generalized axis would be identified for the recognition and extraction of whole generalized axis.Based on the above theory research,the system of generalized axis similarity retrieval based on t he three dimensional structure is developed,the fundamental functions of generalized axis part retrieval,generalized axis assembly retrieval and generalized axis recognition are implemented.In the end,the rationality of the results of retrieval system is verified by examples.
