This thesis states the design and implementation of the application software for the S7/300 series hydraulic press machines operating simulation. This software's goal is to support the user to operate the equipment in complicated production tasks correctly and effectively, in particular to make the correct numerical control and optimize program before performing the operation.This thesis states this software's requirement analysis for its functions, software design and programming implementation. The functions implemented by this software include the functions of the equipment operation and running status simulation, various failure events simulation adapt to its operations and the numeric control programming aid. These functions are analyzed with the related use-case models. The software design scheme is established around this software analysis which is in the layered organization. Among the layers the user interface layer implements the interactive information processing and simulation outputs displaying. The model management layer implements the hydraulic equipments operating models'maintenance which covers the hydraulic device model objects, hydraulic loop model objects, hydraulic equipment model objects on basis of the simulation project object. These objects compose the simulation task with the object classes inheritance relationships and association relationships. The operating simulation and scheduling layer implements the models'dynamic scheduling and the simulation computations. The data management layer implements the basic and dynamic data processing within the universal framework of the relational database model. This thesis presents the objects internal data structure, class diagrams and the simulation algorithms'flowcharts.The thesis presents the system implementation with C++ and its integration with database servers through the standard SQL programming interfaces. Now this software has completed all standard processing specifications on the main hydraulic press machine products and as a result reaches the development objectives.
