The competition of electrical business industry is very intense in current market, the enterprise only refine, deepen, and improve operational efficiency, in order to survive in the competition. Inventory management has gradually been valued by the business enterprise. The inventory is too small to affect sales, inventory is too large will take up a lot of capital flow, so the reasonable control of inventory quantity is a problem for the the business enterprise to be considered.Along with the computer unceasing development, the function of the computer has gradually been accepted. With the increasing number of varieties of inventory development of commercial enterprises amount becomes larger, so the inventory management of paper edition has been gradually replaced by computer management, uses the computer to carry on the inventory management can be very good to improve the efficiency of inventory management. Improve inventory accuracy, ease of use, sharing, transparent etc. In this thesis, according requirement of electrical business industry, an computer inventory management is designed and implemented.In this thesis, the current state of the industry, development trend, as well as the research background, research significance and research ideas were analysed; a systematic demand analysis was carried out, the use case diagram and the flow diagram of business process was given; based on the demand analysis, the system design, including interface, system operation and business logic was proceeded; in particular, method, logic and effect of the safety stock in automatic replenishment was studied, a method to determine the safety stock was given and a strategy to reduce the amount of safety stock inventory was proposed; the system implementation process and system testing process was briefly demonstrated. Tests show that the system can basically meet the design requirements and achieved the anticipated design effect.
