Software Design And Implementation Of DLP Rear Projection Display Unit

With the rapid development of light display and multimedia technology, the high resolution large screen display techniques have widely used in monitoring and process control which need panoramic display. Since multiple projection units have a relatively low cost and can realize the effective extension of the display resolution, them have become important products.At present, the large screen splicing unit is controlled by foreign companies in the high-end market, and low-end market is dominated by Taiwan's products, thus not only the product price is high, but also it also is difficult to system maintenance. In order to develop new product and market, based on the practice experience in some years, the design and implementation of the software for the large screen DLP display unit are carried out in this thesis.In the thesis, the main work is as follows:(1) According to the hardware and software structures, the system architecture of the DLP rear projection display unit is built, and the development platform is created. (2) The color automatic adjustment method is studied, including light data acquiring and analysis, brightness sensor correction, LED attenuation calibration, and curve fitting algorithm. (3) The OSD display style is designed, and the action function of the OSD is realized by the IR remote control. (4) The PC control software is designed, and used to display unit state of monitoring and remote control.The software of the DLP projection display unit in the thesis has some advantages, such as simple structure, fully function, Friendly interface, and easy to use, and is tested by some criterions.
