Optical three-dimensional measurement has an extremely wide range of applications in industrial automatic detection, reverse engineering, biomedical, product quality testing, reproduction and protection of cultural relics, anthropometry, and other fields. With the increasing demand for this kind of application, a variety of optical measurement technology is developing rapidly. With optics and computer technology and digital circuits technological development, Optical measurement techniques began to slowly enter the stage of commercial application.Optical three-dimensional measurement device is originally from western countries and they achieve commercialization. It has a very wide range of applications in a variety of engineering fields. I study the handheld structured light measurement key technologies in this paper. Firstly,I introduced handheld structured light measurement system-related basics, including camera imaging model,camera lens distortion parameters, three-dimensional optical measurement principle; Combined with previous studies in my research group, I describe the binocular camera calibration solutions, and then I give the calibration algorithm used in this paper as well as the calibration results. I achieve binocular camera calibration while Emphasizing the flexibility and accuracy of the calibration. In the image processing,I solve the laser stripe extraction, refinement and matching.Also,I put forward an algorithm to extract the laser stripe center,which is called gravity method,and use epipolar geometry to find the matching points quickly.In the end of the paper,It describes the realization of prototype,including the software and the hardware.I also give the instructions for use and the results of the test.The project implementation and test results show that technology research and implementation processes are effective and feasible in this paper. Structured light handheld device is stable, portable and has a good result for test.It is a good supplement for the existing white structured light measurement equipment.
