With the deepening of information technology, electronic technology becomes more accessible in private data management and distribution?Having said that, storage and protection for private data is of more significance now. How to ensure the security of private data in the Internet environment has became an important issue in the development of cloud computing. Internet company provides cloud storage and cloud backup services which can effectively guarantee the security of data. Even damaged date can be restored by storing version in the cloud, or cloud backup. However, this solution is particularly affected bandwidth thus user data can not be restored cloud storage in large scale and cloud technology, for the user, is also very expensive. Therefore, an effective private data backup and recovery solution is essential.This paper aims to give a solution of private data backup and recovery in LAN-based environment which can be used in by person. The main content of the work are as follows:First, having a glimpse of open source data backup software for a detailed analysis, then comparing its features with its technology implementation. Through that we can get some support in design, analysis and realization of this system. Then the system involved in related technologies analyzed in detail here, including selecting a backup strategy and backup media. The goal and feasibility of the system will be articulated for getting a clear idea of how d ifficult it is. On this basis, the system needs a detailed functional analysis. Finally, a detailed design of the system which will divide the whole into four modules: system management module, task management module, data backup and data recovery module module. For each module a detailed process design will be presented. Given this foundation, combined with C / S software, all of these modules can get be shaped up, especially for the client interface design, we use a form style Ribbon interface design, together with SWT ribbon technology for interface implementation.The main innovation of this paper is as follows:(1) This paper uses the Ribbon design to achieve a form of private data backup and recovery systems form, and it makes the system very obvious form style and helps users quickly become familiar with it as well as improve the user experience.(2) it maks the operating system more convenient and concise by optimizing the processes of backup and recovery processes.
