Swimming is a survival skill for people to acquire food in the water in the primitive society.With the development of society,swimming has gradually become an athletics and fitness movement.Since the reform and opening up,people's living standard has been improved significantly.And due to the great importance of swimming on physical exercise,body recovery,life entertainment and living,people began to put high value on it.Not only can swimming improve the health,but it can also strengthen people's own will and help people master a underwater survival skill.Although some universities do have the swimming lessons,the underwater survival skill is not valued highly,which is partly due to the poor location of Heilongjiang Province,the bad natural condition,the inadequate development level of economy and culture.Therefore,there are still some problems that need to be figured out.This paper attempts to start with the study of the current situation of underwater survival skill,and give full consideration to the features of swimming teaching in Harbin ordinary university.From my point of view,it is feasible to develop lessons on underwater survival skill,whose purpose is to cultivate the students' comprehensive sustainable development.In the meanwhile,it can improve the students underwater survival awareness and set up the proper outlook on life and value.Through the analysis of the situation and influencing factors of the underwater self-help survival skills of Harbin ordinary university students,and the study and solutions of the feasibility to carry out the underwater survival skills training,it can provide the reference for the future development of underwater survival skills teaching in Harbin ordinary universities.The thesis conducted a great variety of re search methods,which mainly including the questionnaire survey,logic analysis,literature,expert interviews,statistics,etc..The author selected 10 universities in Harbin,and carried out a full-scale research on the situation of the public sports swimming lessons.It analyzed the cultivation of students on the underwater survival skill and mastered the development swimming lessons in colleges and universities,and analyzed the main influencing factors on the development of swimming lessons,therefore,it can be helpful for the education on underwater survival skills in Harbin ordinary universities from the theory and practice aspects.This thesis has come to the following conclusions: 1?Harbin city is one of the earliest areas to develop swimming sports in our province.The time period is short due to the place,climate and teacher factors.Most universities' swimming pools in Harbin open to the public in order to reduce expenditure,which results in the inadequate utilization of teaching resources.The general situation of development of underwater survival skills teaching in Harbin ordinary universities is not optimistic.2?Public sports swimming course in Harbin ordinary universities still demands very strong competitive requirements.The main purpose of swimming lesson is developing students' swimming skills.The swimming survival education such as social nature,has not been fully developed.The contents of the swimming course is not quite proper.In the examination,there is no water rescue and self-help survival content.Harbin city swimming lesson water survival skills training is not optimistic.3?Teachers of public sports swimming colleges in Harbin City,the current lack of swimming specialized expertise in the practical aspects of swimming skills shortage.There are 35% swimming teachers are not professional lifeguard certificate,which will affect the related knowledge in the teaching process of swimming and lifesaving imparting self-help.4?although Harbin City College of 69.7% students are very interested in swimming class,but because of their own is not comprehensive understanding of the swimming lesson,so feel the present school swimming lessons have no way to meet their own needs,for the evaluation of the overall teaching method,teachers' teaching attitude and teaching skills in three aspects and low satisfaction,especially water survival skills for teachers teaching satisfaction is lowest.
