The researching subject of this paper is the teaching of folk music in high schools located in Khorchin.Through the observation of the inheritance of Corqin folk music in the Chinese mandatory education phase and the Corqin folk music themselves,it reviews the characteristics and significance of the inheritance of folk music in the geographical structure with the supports out of a field work and a literature review.It also reviews the impacts upon local music and the cultural drift reflected out of the music within the selected context of the inheritance of cultural marks,the Music Class of the Fourth High School of Horqin Right Middle Banner.Chapter 1 explains the traditional Corqin folk music and the high school music education in Khorchin.Corqin folk music is an important element of traditional Corqin culture.As the society as a whole develop and evolve,the ways to inherit traditional culture change in the mean time.Therefore,the reasonable and scientific introduction of folk music education towards the mandatory education could be an acceptable choice.Chapter 2 includes a survey of the status quo of Corqin folk music education at the Fourth High School of Horqin Right WIng Middle Banner,which consists of a)an introduction of the faculty of folk music,b)the selection of teaching materials,c)the teaching procedures of a folk music class,and d)the implementation of folk music teaching methods.Chapter 3 discusses the inheritance of Corqin folk music within the music education at local high schools,which starts from a field work of the categories and characteristics of the dispersal of Corqin folk music,and is ended by a demonstrate the necessity of folk music education and the significance of the inheritance of folk music education based upon the field work. |
