With the development of the Internet,English has become a necessary language as an important tool for today's communication.For students in middle school,it is a critical period as it is a transition for them to get mature from juvenile.New national curriculum of middle school English puts forward higher requirements.However,the practice of English teaching has polarized due to the imbalanced flow of educational resources to different regions of the country.Those students who have difficulties in learning have become the focus and aroused debate in the society.In view of the issue,the author adopts the interview research method and takes SanChahe Middle School in Arong County as an example to analyze the SanChahe Middle School from the perspectives of teachers,students,society and family and find out the problems and their causes,based on which the author can find out the solutions to the issue.Based on the perspectives of both "teacher" teaching and "student learning"This paper starts from the analysis of the problems of English learning in rural area and therefore develop strategies to address the problems,which broadens the research category of rural English education and therefore is of certain theoretical value.At the same time,by employing questionnaires,interview analysis,etc.,the author is able to have access to first-hand information of English learning and teaching in rural area in Inner Mongolia and explore the problem of English learning difficulties,which has great practical significance of improving the condition of English teaching in rural area in the future.This paper,combined with the relevant literature,first states the classical theory about the students who have learning difficulties under the background of new national curriculum,which lays a solid foundation for analysis and solution thereafter.Then the authors employs questionnaires and research method of interviews to carry on the examples analysis,based on which the author found many problems,such as,teachers lacking of innovation and responsibility.The concepts of utilisation prevailing in education;the widening development gap between different cities and students' obsolete learning methods and weakening interest in learning,all contribute to the learning difficulties in rural area.In view of this,The author probes into the professionality of English teachers of middle school and designs the approaches on how to solve the learning difficulties of the students mainly from the following aspects: to facilitate teachers' professional skills;to cultivate students 'interest in learning and avoid the psychological barriers;to cultivate a good learning environment and to stress the importance of English learning by using media.By using the methods above,we can facilitate the specific strategies which are applicable to the current English teaching in middle schools in the country and therefore comprehensively develop students English skills and solve their learning difficulties.
