A Study Of The Influence Of Mobile Media On Ideological And Political Work In Colleges And Universities And Its Countermeasures

From December 7 to 8,2016,the national ideological and political work conference was held in Beijing in which Xi,the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China stresses that the ideological and political work concerns what kind of people to cultivate,how to cultivate them and for whom to cultivate them.He proposes to take high moral values establishment and people cultivation as the fundamental task of the current education.In order to create a new situation in the development of higher education in China,he claims that the ideological and political work should be carried out through the whole process of education and teaching so as to realize the whole process of educating and cultivating people in all directions.He hopes to speed up the construction of "world-class university" and "first-class discipline" strategy,and to provide strong supports for improving the level of China's higher education and enhancing the core competitiveness of the country.Mobile media plays an important role in the promotion of ideological and political work in contemporary colleges and universities in China for its universal popularization and application in new media techonology.It not only broadens the channel for college students to acquire knowledge and recognize the world,improves the media literacy of college students,but also innovates the ways of carrying out the ideological and political work in colleges and universities and enhances the multi-dimensional interaction of ideological and political education.But at the same time,it must be noticed that under the new situation,because of the lack of attention to the use of mobile media in the ideological and political education of college students,and the lack of correct value guidance of mobile phone content,the current mobile media has brought a certain negative impact on the ideological and political work in colleges and universities andsome challenges to the management of college education.Therefore,at present,we must integrate the mobile media technology and ideological and political work of college students,and actively explore new ways to enhance the ideological and political education in the field of mobile media,so as to effectively promote the ideological and political work in colleges and universities.This thesis is divided into four chapters among which the first chapter mainly introduces the research background,current situation and significance of this thesis,as well as the effective methods adopted in this research.The second chapter mainly presents the contents and characteristics of mobile media and explores both of its positive and negative impacts on the ideological and political work education in colleges and universities.Based on the findings in chapter two,chapter three makes a detailed and comprehensive analysis from three angles to explore the factors that contribute to such negative impacts.The fourth chapter puts forward the countermeasures to enhance the ideological and political work in contemporary colleges and universities in the field of mobile media.
