In recent years,with the rapid development of China,the residents of the medical service requirements are also rising.And with the new physiological-psychological-social medical model replace the traditional medical model gradually,people not only concerned about the rehabilitation of the disease,but also began to concern the changes about their own emotional,psychological and social function in the treatment.Medical social worker as a third party other than doctors and patients,through the participation of treatment and use the professional methods for patients and their families to provide psychological counseling,link social resources,solve a series of social problems from the disease.To restore the patient's body and mental health,improve their capacity.So medical staff can devote all energy into medical care,reduce stress and cure patients.By combing the relevant literature,we can see that the current research on medical social work focuses on the macro level of policy and system,or professional development,service intervention and so on.There is little research on theneeds and identities of medical social workers,and more from the perspective of patients and social workers to study.And health care providers who are providers of professional medical services are one of the key players in the smooth development of social work.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the needs and identities of health care workers to enhance the recognition of medical social work and the whole society.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the needs and identities of health care workers to improve the recognition of medical social work and the whole society.It provides theoretical and practical basis for promoting the integration of social work into medical service and promoting the professional development of medical social workThis study is based on the case of X Hospital in Hunan Province and the medical staff as the research object,using quantitative research and qualitative research methods to understand the demand and recognition of social work by doctor and nurse.In addition,the study analyses the influencing factors from the aspects of policy,professional characteristics,talent cultivation and regional development.On this basis,the author combined with the actual situation of the hospital and professional development,according to theinfluencing factors from all levels,put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions: to strengthen the system construction,expand the scope of professional services,to strengthen personnel training and enhance professionalism,to regional balanced development.It is expected to explore the way to promote the professional development of medical social work from the perspective of the needs and identification of medical workers.
