Research On The Changes Of Boat People's Intermarriage Circle Since The Reform And Opening Up

Boat people,also known as the dan people,is a group of special population formed in the history of our country.They have no land,long-term living on board,low social status,living standards is very backward.After the foundation of our country,the government continued to organize the boat people moved ashore.Since then,the vast majority of boat people no longer to live on board,began ashore settlement.In the process,they have great changes in social status,production and life,and many other aspects.Previous scholars study about the boat people,mostly around the boat race,history and culture,the boat in the production and life in modern society are of less.Since the reform and opening up,the boat of marriage and family system research is less.The academic research about intermarriage circle problem,more attention to land village villagers and minority groups,almost no attention to a special history of boat group and the boat community.Therefore,the author from the perspective of sociology is concerned the changes of boat people's intermarriage circle since reform and opening up.Research on the changes of boat people's intermarriage circle since reform and opening up has important significance.This not only complements the academic research on intermarriage circle problem,extensive research of the boat people,and as vulnerable groups of boat people in today's concern for the survival and development of social.This paper explores the changes of boat people's intermarriage circle since reform and opening up,taking the study of Mufanshe community in Minhou County for example.First through the literature research and field investigation method combined with empirical data are collected,the Mufanshe community location and origin,the boat's production and the life and the boat education and marriage.Secondly,in before 1978 wooden Yacht Club boat of intermarriage circle profiles are described later.Taking this as the background,is divided into three stages to detailed descript the boat people's intermarriage circle in each period from 1978 to 1985,1986-1999 and 2000 is how to change.Then under the guidance of the theory of social change,the author from the social policy,economic development,the concept of mate selection and marriage changes and population flow four aspects,analyzes the boat intermarriage circle change.Finally,the author discusses the boat groups from society"edge" to "mainstream society" changes,and settlement of the boat the change and development of thinking.This article tries to objective analysis of the changes of boat people's intermarriage circle since reform and opening up,and this led to discussion in today's society from the "edge" to the "mainstream" forward as vulnerable groups of the boat.I hope the investigation can enrich the study about the problem in the boat,at the same time help policymakers focus on boat group's current existence and fate...
