Research On The Difference Of Floating Population's Citizenization Of Small Cities,Medium-sized And Large Cities

By analyzing the present situation of the citizenization of floating population and the difference of citizenization of small cities, medium-sized and large cities, and further study on factors affecting the state of the citizenization of floating population, especially to contrast the similarities and differences of the factors influencing the citizenization of floating population among the three kinds of cities, based on this, some suggestions on how to promote the urbanization process of the floating population are provided.Reference to urbanization and population migration theory, through the analysis the nature and dimensions of floating population'citizenization, factors of the citizenization differences among floating population, formed the theoretical framework to analize the floating population' citizenization. We emphasize that citizenization is the floating population social adaptation to the citizen in city.This paper used the data of national health and family planning commission "investigation of the dynamic monitoring of the floating population" from Sichuan province in 2014. Exploratory factor analysis method and multiple linear regression method are applied to the empirical analysis. In the process of regression analysis, the dependent variable "Floating population's Citizenization" is from exploratory factor analysis. Independent variables include macroscopic factors index reflecting urban environment and microscopic factors index reflecting the individual characteristics of the floating population.Through empirical analysis found that:first, the floating population citizenization level is not high enough, no matter large cities, medium cities or small cities, the urbanization level is not high enough. There are differences between big cities, medium cities and small cities of the floating population citizenization level. Medium urban floating population citizenization level significantly lower than that of big cities and small cities, the difference between big cities and small cities is not obvious. This means that for the floating population citizenization. Although large cities will be favoured, small city is a very good choice. Secondly, in the five aspects of civilization, social security has the greatest impact on the level of civilization. Large cities and medium-sized cities have different advantages. The advantage of big cities lies in the high level of social security, employment situation, and economic income. The advantage of the medium-sized cities is that the public service and the living conditions are better. Small cities do not have the advantage of every aspect, but each is not the worst. Third, the following factors such as education, age, household register, marriage and residence have significant influence between big cities, medium cities and small cities of the floating population citizenization level. Fourth, working area, migration span and residence time have different influence on the floating population' citizenization level of three kinds cities. In big cities and medium cities, the urban areas is obviously better than the integration of urban and rural areas and small towns. while a small city, on the other hand, the urban areas is superior to the integration of urban and rural areas and small towns. Migration span has no effect on big cities, and the impact on small and medium-sized cities are different. The residence time only have an effect on big cities.For this, the paper put forward the following suggestions:first, give full play to the relatively high level of small cities'floating population citizenization, regard the small city as an important way to promote the citizenization of the floating population. The second is to solve the social security of floating population in the settlement. Third, we need to greatly improve the income level of the floating population. Fourth, focus on improving the degree of the culture of the floating population. Fifth, large and medium-sized cities in providing basic public services should be focused on regional. Sixth, pay attention to solve the problem of the housing of the floating population and their children to school.
